Dispose of your unused prescription medication April 27, 2024 from 9am to 11am

YES: Pills, tablets, capsules, patches, liquids, films, and powders: put into container and discard packaging according to policy
Liquids: expel contents of syringes into the container and dispose of empty syringe in Sharps container, pour or draw contents of vials or ampoules into the container and discard packaging according to policy, drain IVs into the container
Patches: affix sticky side of patch to a tissue and drop into container, discard packaging according to policy
Make sure to replace cap securely and track medication on front of container or as instructed by your organization.
Agitate container periodically by lightly shaking and swirling in motion.
NO:
Do NOT put syringes, vials/ampoules, or packaging into the Deterra Jug
