In response to the ongoing challenges posed by unprecedented drought conditions and their impact on Canyon Lake, a panel will discuss the management of the lake's water resources. The League of Women Voters Comal Area, Tye Preston Memorial Library, and Comal Conservation are hosting the discussion on Tuesday, April 22, 6:00 -7:30 p.m. at the library, 16311 South Access Road, Canyon Lake, TX 78133.The panel includes Brett Mazey, Lake Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nathan Pence, Executive Manager of Environmental Sciences for Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA), and Aundrea Williams, President of the Texas Water Company. Each will provide insights into their organizationβs respective roles and strategies in addressing current water management issues. Written questions will be collected from the audience.
