Dropsonic is an Atlanta-based rock band known for their blend of grunge, alternative, and classic rock influences. After a fifteen-year hiatus, they returned in 2025 with a new self-titled album co-produced by Alice in Chains' William DuVall. The band initially formed in the late 90s, released six albums, and played over a thousand shows before disbanding in 2011. The reunion was sparked by frontman Dan Dixon's remixing and re-releasing of the band's back catalog during the pandemic, leading to a renewed creative energy and the addition of new drummer Chandler Rentz.
Traindodge is an Oklahoma City-based band formed in 1996, known for their energetic live performances and a distinctive blend of post-hardcore, math rock, and indie rock. They've released multiple albums, including "The Alley Parade" in 2023, and are recognized for their ability to balance melody and volume, with influences ranging from Fugazi and Jawbox to modern hardcore and math rock.
