Mix, measure, and make something delicious at Kids in the Kitchen! In this hands-on workshop, kids ages 5–10 will:
🥣 Practice measuring, mixing, and following simple recipes
🧑🍳 Learn basic kitchen skills while creating tasty treats
🍪 Get creative with food and discover the science behind cooking and baking
🎨 Enjoy a food-inspired activity, plus a little free playtime around the museum
This workshop blends cooking, creativity, and hands-on learning—perfect for kids who love to help in the kitchen, try new things, and, of course, taste their creations!
Friday, November 13 | 5–7 PM
This is a drop-off class. A drop-off waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian prior to entry to class. We recommend bringing a water bottle for your child. (Note: DCM is a nut-free facility.)
Cost: $30 per participant or $25 for current museum members (membership must be current as of the day of the event). Ticket price includes a small snack and juice box.
