O come all ye dance floor faithful! The Christmas bells are chiming and calling you all to dance.
Join us for our last dance of 2023 at our beloved Sala Upload. Two rooms of House and Disco in all its guises at one of our favorite dance temples in Barcelona. Two different atmospheres, each complete with enough melodic mistletoe to get you ready for the festive season.
To celebrate DROP’s biggest seasons to date, we’ve decided to prepare a fully local lineup to close off the year.
We could not think of a better guest for this festive occasion than our very own Tete de la Course. Not only was he the first DJ ever booked with DROP, but he also recently released his first-ever EP, "The Light" on our new label DROP Dance Society Records.
Joining him, we have a powerhouse of talent spread over two rooms headed by Alcazar Soundsystem from Rome, featuring Jason K & Antonio Aiello. Alongside them, we are thrilled to present Menine and Peony, two Catalan rising talents, in a B2B set full of jolly jams. Also behind the decks are Vince Void and Diesco, two well-known producers and DJs who are mainstays in the DROP collective. Plus, of course, our longstanding resident and founder, Beniso, and the French, Camelia fresh off a blistering set for Defected Records.

DROP is authentic dance music culture, the way it was always meant to be. As the fastest-growing music movement in Barcelona, our philosophy is simple: "Music is made for dancing, and everybody is equal on the dancefloor". Our parties are a homage to music in all its shapes and colors, from the lofts of Chicago, Detroit, and NY to the basements of Berlin, Amsterdam, and London. We are a sonic time machine designed to take you through the original eras of House, Disco, Funk, Soul, and Groove while showcasing top DJ talent. How do we tie everything together? With our values of love, kindness, and tolerance for all. But enough talking. The vinyls are spinning, the beats are bobbing. Ready to boogie?
