Drop-in Studio: Mixed Media Monotypes
Advertisement
Join Drop-in Studio and experiment with monotype printmaking and mixed media inspired by the innovative prints and layered works on view in A Shared Vision: The Glen W. Johnson and Thomas P. Merchant Collection.
Explore two unique monotype techniques — drawing on aluminum foil or creating painted transfers with wax paper — to create one-of-a-kind prints. Then, layer your composition with foam prints, pastel, or marker to discover how combining techniques, textures, and colors can transform an image.
All materials are provided, and guests are encouraged to play and experiment. Drop-in Studio sessions occur every Saturday from 11 am — 3 pm and are included with general Museum admission.
Location: GRAM Studio
Contact: For more information, please contact GRAM Studio at [email protected] or 616.831.2927.
