Drop-in Mixed Pose Life Drawing - 1pm-3pm (Masked)

Come along to a relaxed, untutored mixed pose life drawing session for all abilities in our purpose built studio.

Face masks are required to be worn for this session.

A mixed pose session typically includes a range of poses from 3 minutes - 45 mins and we will be drawing from an unclothed model.

There will be a short break for hot drinks and biscuits in the middle of the session. Toilets are available in the building.

The studio is well equipped for artists, with easels and drawing boards available. Limited materials are on hand to use and paper can be purchased. You are welcome to bring your own art materials as well.

Facemasks are required for this session so do bring a facemask if you can. Free masks are available at the studio.

The session will be facilitated by life drawing tutor, Lancelot Richardson, who will be on hand to provide assistance with your drawing. This session is for artists of any ability – beginners welcome!

It is a drop in session, meaning that you can book ahead here, or arrive on the day and pay by contactless.

When you arrive at the building, head to the front door next to the building manager's office. The doors are open, so come on in and head up to level 5 - the studio is on the South side of the building

There will be a short break for hot drinks and biscuits in the middle of the session. Toilets are available in the building.

The building has a wheelchair ramp, lifts and accessible toilets. Unfortunately, the building does not provide parking. If you have access needs, please get in touch so we can help you enjoy life classes.

Please do not attend this session if you have covid, flu, are otherwise infectious or showing similar symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, fever, etc. You will receive a refund as well as our appreciation! Just get in touch to let me know - you may also transfer the booking to another week if you prefer.

Mask wearing is required for this session. The studio has an industrial grade air filter and is well ventilated with high ceilings.

This session is run via the Draw Brighton studio and adheres to their basic model rates of £20/hr, including breaks. Draw also guarantees sick pay for life models. We believe it is important and ethical to compensate our models with a fair, living wage.
