We're so excited to have Ignacio Grinstein leading our August drop-in workshop!
Focus: Music, scene works

----- Workshop Description ------
Can you imagine a movie without a soundtrack? Me neither. That's precisely why I believe music is an essential tool for our improvised scenes. Just like in film, music can enhance emotions, create dramatic tension, or provide a soothing backdrop.
And we can't always have a musician for our performances. That's why learning to use recorded music for our shows can be very positive.
In this workshop, we'll explore how to effectively use recorded music to enrich our improv. We'll learn to understand music's impact, how to use it to complement our scenes, and how to refine our physical expression and interpretation of our partners. We'll also delve into the art of minimalism, applying the "less is more" principle to elevate our improv.
Please come to the workshop in comfortable clothing so you can move around freely.
*This workshop requires basic knowledge of improvisation and the more experience the improviser has, the more he or she will enjoy it.
