A Few Things to Keep in Mind:

• This is a ONE DAY class - Tuesday July 30th, 2024 from 7-9pm

• Class will be held at Cre8ive Studios (134 W 29th St, Floor 2)

• We will be moving around the space and on our feet for a good portion of class, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows you to move around freely

• Keep an open mind, and be willing to participate - even if you think what we're doing is a little ridiculous - because I promise you that it will be!

• This is a judgment-free zone! We ask that all participants commit to providing an inclusive space for all to feel comfortable through the use of inclusive language, respect of personal boundaries, and omission of controversial topics. Any person(s) exhibiting behavior that becomes explicitly non-supportive, judgmental, or problematic might be asked to leave.

About Your Instructor(s):

Mike Brown has been teaching improv since 2011. He taught at The People's Improv Theater for 3 years before going on tour with BeerProv aboard the MSC Meraviglia Cruise Ship performing Short Form Improv (Whose Line Is It Anyway) nightly. He developed his own signature style of improvisation (Solo Improv), and spent 10+ years traveling the globe performing in nearly every improv festival imaginable. He also met his wife, Kim, in improv class! He's got plenty of stories to regale you with, so maybe you should ask him about some of them sometime!

Kristin Elliott has several decades of improv experience under her belt. She's performed on stages from Los Angeles to New York City while also training at LA Connection Comedy Theater, The PIT, The Magnet, and Second City. More recently, Kristin has been invited to perform at European improv festivals in Dublin, Oslo, and Nottingham. She is also an accomplished actress with credits on stage, film, and TV.
