Join local filmmaker Caitlin Reid for a hands-on drop-in filmmaking workshop at Planet Ant (REGISTER at https://tinyurl.com/yffyds9m)!
Using simple one-line scripts, participants will work together to create short scenes while rotating through different filmmaking roles, including directing, camera operation, acting, sound, and more. Along the way, you'll discover how choices in camera angles, movement, framing, performance, and editing can completely transform the meaning of a scene.
No experience is required. Whether you're curious about filmmaking, interested in trying a new creative role, or looking for a fun way to collaborate with others, this workshop is designed to be welcoming, flexible, and beginner-friendly.
Come for the whole session or drop in when you can. Work with provided equipment or bring your own phone or camera. Optional coaching and guidance will be available throughout.
