Unleash your inner artist in this monthly program held in the Denver Art Museum galleries, designed for older adults and welcoming for all ages and abilities. Take inspiration from your favorite artworks in the gallery with supportive feedback from artist Anna Kaye. Included with general admission.Join us in person on the first Tuesday of every month and experience the transformative power of art in a program that has enriched lives for over a decade. Drawing materials are provided.
In September, we will take inspiration from the Sensory Garden (pictured here) to explore the link between creativity and the natural world. Create artist trading cards and join us in our exchange! Artist trading cards are small-scale artworks that artists exchange, these miniature pieces of art are crafted and swapped among artists. The key guideline for the cards are their size, 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Share your unique creations with fellow participants, fostering a vibrant community of artistic expression.
The entrance to the Sensory Garden can be accessed through the lower level of the Martin Building. From the main entrance, please use the stairs or elevator to reach the Lower Level, then exit through the glass doors into the Kemper Courtyard. Once you get outside, follow the green signs to the north side of the building.
