Drop-In Art: Mixed Media Ikebana Collages
Schedule
Sat Apr 18 2026 at 11:00 am to 04:00 pm
UTC-05:00Location
Oklahoma City Museum of Art | Oklahoma City, OK
Drawing from the Japanese art of flower arranging, ikebana will be reimagined through expressive ink drawing and collage using richly textured mulberry paper. Participants will layer color, line, and organic forms to create dynamic compositions that celebrate movement, balance, and natural beauty—echoing the playful, lyrical qualities of Chihuly’s glass works.
Pre-registration is not required. This program is free with admission and for Museum members. Not a member? Join today at okcmoa.com/membership!
