The town's annual light switch on event takes place Saturday 23rd November, in Victoria Square, Droitwich Spa. The popular Santa's Grotto, ran by Droitwich Lions, will be in St Richard's House 12-5pm. Attractions in the vicinity of the building and Victoria Square will include seasonal stalls and fairground rides. Bubble elves and stilt walking angels will be roaming around. Entertainment in Victoria Square, 12-6pm, will include: Fairground rides and seasonal stalls, Storm in a Teacup - bubble elves and stilt walking angels, Lantern Festival, Norbury Theatre performance, Salvation Army Band, ENTW9 dance display, SB Danceworks performance, Westacre Middle School Choir, I-Sing Choir, The Countdown and Switch On by the Mayor, Cllr Alex Sinton (plus Santa!) at 6pm. Car parking will be free of charge from 12 mid-day on Wychavon car parks.
