🚗❄️ Driving Under the Influence Awareness Program – Now Including Winter Driving Safety! ❄️🚗
One decision can change a life forever. Make sure it's the right one.
The Children's Safety Village invites youth, future drivers, parents, and caregivers to an engaging and impactful evening focused on the realities of impaired, distracted, and high-risk driving, with an added focus on winter driving and vehicle safety!
This interactive program goes beyond the rules of the road to explore the real-life consequences that one poor decision can have on individuals, families, and our community. Participants will hear powerful messages, gain practical knowledge, and learn how to make safer choices behind the wheel.
With winter approaching, we will also touch on important winter driving safety practices, including preparing your vehicle for cold weather, navigating snowy and icy roads, and understanding how winter conditions affect stopping distances and vehicle control.
This is also an excellent program for families. Parents and caregivers will gain valuable insight into the legal, financial, and insurance consequences of impaired and distracted driving while learning how to have meaningful conversations with the young drivers in their lives.
This free community program is proudly presented in partnership with the Belleville Police Service, Ministry of Transportation, MADD Quinte, and Co-operators, bringing together experts dedicated to promoting safe and responsible driving.
