We plan to meet up for coffee at 11am at Dobbies Garden Centre, Stirling before heading around Loch Earn to St Fillans, Crieff for afternoon tea at Achray House Hotel.
Loch Earn is a freshwater loch in the southern highlands of Scotland, in the districts of Perth and Kinross and Stirling. The name literally means “Loch of Ireland”, and it has been suggested that this might derive from the time when the Gaels were expanding their kingdom of Dál Riata eastwards into Pictland.
St. Fillans is a pretty, picturesque conservation village situated within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
