At Drip House, coffee has always been about more than just what’s in the cup. Since the day we opened our doors, it’s been about creating space for people to gather, share stories, spark ideas, and feel at home. Over the years, we’ve watched countless connections form across our tables — friendships, collaborations, even love stories. That’s why this year’s Block Party theme, “Coffee Brought Us Together,” feels so true to who we are.

On September 20th, we’re taking that same spirit outside and turning Parkdale Park and Hamilton Ave into one big celebration of community. Think of it as an open invitation to our extended living room — the kind where music is always playing, food is being shared, and neighbors become friends.

Here’s what you can expect when you step into the Block Party:

Signature Coffee & Seasonal Specials – Our team of baristas will be brewing up everything from Drip House favorites to exclusive Block Party creations you won’t find on the menu any other day.

🎶 Music All Day Long – Local DJs and musicians will set the vibe, carrying us from sunny afternoon grooves into a high-energy evening street party.

🍴 Local Eats & Pop-Ups – Some of Ottawa’s favorite food vendors will be serving everything from street snacks to indulgent bites. Perfect for pairing with a latte or refreshing iced matcha.

🛍️ Community Market – We’re curating a lineup of local makers, artists, and small businesses that reflect the creativity and diversity of our city. It’s the perfect chance to discover something new and support the people behind it.

🎨 Art & Creativity in Action – Expect interactive art experiences, live painting, and creative installations that invite you not just to watch, but to take part.

👨‍👩‍👧 All-Ages Welcome – Whether you’re bringing kids, coming with friends, or flying solo, there’s something for everyone. The Block Party is about connection, and every age and background is part of that story.
