Star Club hosts Sian Sibley for our monthly Open Lecture, the first to move to our new venue at The Visible College in South Gloucestershire. We’ll open the day with a round of the Tarot on the Tree of Life game, a great aid to learning both Qabalah and the magical uses of the Tarot!
Tarot on the Tree of Life
First developed by Gerald Suster and adapted by David Rankine, this game is for any number of players who work their way up the Tree of Life using the tarot cards dealt by the Universe!
Along the way you’ll learn about the inter-relation of the paths and spheres of the Tree of Life, and you might even get a reading out of it. Fun for experienced readers and magicians, or a great first step to learning about these core topics of Star Club.

Sian Sibley
Sian will be speaking about running magical groups and pastoral care within the occult community, bringing her three decades of experience in both leading the DragonOak Coven in South Wales and her career in teaching. Safeguarding is an important issue for all groups and the well-being of practitioners should be emphasised in any organisation.
The talk will be interactive and offer different perspectives on running a coven, with tales of adventures and a fun group exercise to engage all attending.
Sian is the author of Unveiling the Green, a book on working psychologically, alchemically and astrologically with plant spirits, and Black Paths and Green Cathedrals, her take on ecological witchcraft and working with the spirit of the trees.
ALSO STAY FOR OUR MASS OF BABALON!
Star Club will offer a Mass of Babalon, celebrating the Thelemic Goddess and empowering participants with a Eucharist. You do not need any specific background or belief to take part, and there will be non-alcoholic sacrament available.
