If you want to be on the waiting list, you may sign up as GOING and we will let you know if someone drops out on a first come, first served basis. Apologies to those who wanted to come, but of course we can only hold so many Driftwood fans.We try not to play favorites here at Doodad Farm, but ever since Driftwood (Binghamton, NY) first played here in 2012, we’ve given them an open invitation perform here anytime they’re in the area. That’s an offer we’ve only made to a couple of national acts. If you’ve ever attended a Driftwood show, you know of this band’s unique ability to mesmerize audiences. We’re always happy to host these guys.
After their live stage shows, Driftwood often comes down from the stage and joins the audience for a couple of fully acoustic songs. For many fans, this is best moment of the show, with no microphones or amps between their ears and the music.
Like those intimate after-show performances, this entire house concert will be totally acoustic, so you’ll get to hear every note perfectly: Joey Acuri’s upright base, Dan Forsyth’s guitar, Joe Kollar’s banjo, Claire Byrne’s fiddle, Sam Fishman’s drums, and of course everyone’s amazing voices. This is Driftwood as few get to hear them.

HOW TO ATTEND (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
Unlike our outdoor shows, we have limited seating space for our house concerts, so we offer entry on a first-come, first-served basis. This means we need you to sign up here as “GOING” if you plan to attend and are sure you can make it to the show. If something comes up to prevent you from attending, we ask that you revisit this event page and remove your “GOING” status so we can give someone else your seat.
We are asking each guest to donate a minimum $30 cash, all of which goes directly to the band. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Please arrive by 3pm, and you’re welcome as early as 2:30pm. The show will start shortly after 3pm.
We will provide snacks for guests, but we’d welcome any snack foods you’d like to contribute. Please just bring finger foods to keep it simple. We’ll also have water and some soft drinks. We’ll provide a cooler for your BYOB drinks.
We’ll have volunteers here to help you find a parking spot. Please be careful, especially if the ground is wet.
We’ll also provide seats for everyone, but some will be benches and even stair treads. There are no bad seats, but some are more comfortable than others. Please come early if you have mobility issues or other special needs, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
If you don’t feel well on the day of the show or suspect that you have Covid or another infectious illness, please cancel your reservation. We’ll do the best we can to keep fresh air flowing during the event.
