DrFameus is an electronic music project created by the versatile drummer, Allen Aucoin. Allen explores many realms with DrFameus ranging from breakbeats to drum 'n' bass to dubstep to techno/house. It is his ability to survey the crowd and then improvise that has allowed Aucoin to play in such diverse projects over the years.
Allen began his musical career not onstage, but instead in education and composition. This included instructing and writing for award winning percussion ensembles and teaching drum lessons. While attending Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts Allen was given the nickname DrFameus and it has stuck ever since. Like so many of us, college was not exactly a punctual time for Allen. He became known as the guy that was famously late all the time; so much that a friend gave him the honorary doctorate, DrFameus.
After moving back to the southeast from Boston, Allen continued to work as a teacher and percussion instructor while touring with the band “Skydog Gyspy." In 2005 Aucoin acquired his current role as the drummer for Philadelphia electronic act, the Disco Biscuits. Since winning the “drum off” held by the Biscuits in Atlantic City, Allen has played 450-500 shows with the quartet including shows at the Gorge Amphitheatre and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Drum Freq:
Drum Freq is a collaboration between DJ Bassarid and musician JP Miller. The project first took shape in Miami during Love Burn 2025 and quickly evolved following a high-energy New Year's Eve performance in Asheville, NC. Blending live hand percussion with deep, groove-driven electronic selections, the duo creates an immersive, rhythm-forward experience designed to keep the dancefloor moving.
Bassarid is a Charlotte, NC based DJ known for taking his audience on a journey through tribal house, funky minimal, deep tech, and hypnotic downtempo grooves. Drawing influence from drum & bass, jazz, hip hop, disco, jungle, dub, ambient, psychedelic, and global sounds, his sets weave diverse elements into a cohesive, story-driven flow tailored to the moment. Originally from Boston, he began running music and lighting for underground parties in 2009 before relocating to Charlotte in 2012, where he was welcomed into the local rave and burner community. Since then, he has performed at clubs, burns, and festival stages from Michigan to Miami, sharing lineups with artists such as Carlo Lio and Vincent Antone.
JP Miller is a Grammy Award-winning multi-instrumentalist who has performed in all 50 US states, in nearly every major American city, and internationally. He is a co-founder of Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band and Big Ol Nasty Getdown, projects that have collaborated and performed alongside artists such as George Clinton, members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Jane's Addiction, The Meters, Kool & the Gang, Foo Fighters, and Fishbone. While guitar is his primary instrument, Miller also performs on percussion and keys. After discovering Burning Man culture in 2024, he rekindled his passion for live electronic collaborations, bringing his dynamic musicianship into hybrid DJ-driven performances like Drum Freq.
