Their Excellencies Baron Ramvoldus and Baroness Kungund invite you to Dreiburgen for the elevation of their heirs, Sigbiorn and Keinvryd, who will be choosing their first champions of steel and rattan. There will be glorious arts to enjoy and display. Anything you could want will be found within the joy of Dreiburgen Anniversary.
So grab your friends and bring them out to celebrate the Barony of Dreiburgen! Bring a friend to any of the combat forms, or to enjoy our arts and sciences—anywhere you go, a friend will brighten your day!

Combat:
Armored Combat will be a two person team combat format. Fighters will be randomly paired with a partner by the lyst runner and will compete in a double elimination team tournament. The singular champion of the day will be chosen at their excellencies pleasure.
Rapier combat will be a Doubles Tournament. Fighters will create their own teams (Only one MoD per team). Lives will be given out based on the fighter’s rank.
MoDs and Grant Level Fighters – 1 Life
AoA level and Unranked Fighters – 2 lives
For example, A team consisting of a MoD and a Duelist will have a total of 3 lives. A team consisting of a Duelist and an Unranked fighter will have a total of 4 lives. You are welcome to form your teams and report them to the lyst tables. Any unaffiliated fighters will be paired by the lysts crew.
The singular champion of the day will be chosen at their excellencies pleasure.
Youth Combat and Cut and Thrust combat will be dependent on attendance.
Arts and Sciences:
The Tortoise & Hare Competitions
This arts competition is geared towards watching the improvement of our artisans over time. Typically hosted at Dreiburgen Anniversary - there are two categories for entrants to choose from The Tortoise and The Hare. Entries will be judged based on the forms used at Dreiburgen Summer Arts 2026 - with a winner from each category & there will be an overall populace choice prize.
The Hare Category is some skill, art or science that you have picked up in the last year - ideally since the previous October. Share with us something that you are just in the process of learning.
The Tortoise Category is some skill, art or science that you have been practicing or working on for more than one year - bonus points may be awarded if the entry is an art that you have previously entered into The Hare competition so we can see the progress you have made.

Artisans Village Dreiburgen Anniversary 2026
In addition to The Tortoise & Hare competitions, we will be hosting an Artisans Village under the large Dreiburgen pop-up. We would love to have artisans display their Arts and Sciences and have a place to sit and gather to talk about their discoveries.
These displays will not be judged - we would love to see what you're passionate about. Our theme this year is ‘friends don' t let friends volunteer alone’, we thought that it would be fun to have a space to gather around with our arts, sciences, & friends. Throughout the day there will be tracks of time that focus on topics that are still TBD. During these track times, we will have some laurels and other subject matter experts coming to visit and mingle with the artisans. (If you are a laurel or subject matter expert that would like to volunteer some time or topics to this event please email [email protected])
Bring your things and stuff and questions and let's build our artisans up and encourage more discovery.

10:00 am - Opening Court (at their majesties pleasure)
15 minutes after the end of court - Lists Close

Registration information: Adult Event Registration $25, Adult Member Discount Event Registration $15, Youth aged 17 and under are guests of the Barony. Payment using cash and checks only will be accepted on-site. Please make checks payable to SCA, Inc./Barony of Dreiburgen. There are no refunds.
Entry information: The park typically has an entry fee, but we will be collecting it as part of your site fee, so please let the rangers at the gate know that you are with the SCA, and you should be allowed to enter without payment.
Directions: Rancho Jurupa Park, 4800 Crestmore Rd, Riverside, CA 92509
From the 60 freeway, take exit 50 onto Rubidoux Blvd (from 60E turn right, from 60W turn left), turn left onto Mission Blvd, right onto Crestmore Road, then left into the park.
From the 91 freeway: take exit 64 (from 91E exit University Ave, continue straight then turn left, from 91W Mission Inn Ave, turn right) onto Mission Inn Ave, turn left onto Crestmore Road, then left into the park.
Once through the park gate, continue past the parking lot on the right, then turn right into the next parking lot, then left, following the road and SCA signs until it ends at the lake picnic parking area. If the lot is full, you may unload at the curb, before parking your vehicle in the previous parking lot.
