Dreaming of a Disco returns on Friday, February 13th for a Valentine's weekend affair at The Cardinal Bar. Join us for a night for music lovers, with the soundtrack provided by Nola Rave, Lovecraft, and host DJ DH.
We will be donating funds from this party to support mutual aid efforts in Minneapolis/Minnesota.
Nola Rave (DJ Nola) is a DJ and event organizer from Minneapolis who has been hosting her "Freak of the Week" parties for 8 years. Nola is a true party authority and local legend. With her time-tested skill and broad experience, Nola wields and weaves her selections from Deep Funk to Slammin’ Disco ; Vocal-Infused House to Banging Techno.
Joining her is Madison's Lovecraft, who was one of the minds behind the long-running weekly "House of Love" parties at The Cardinal Bar that hosted names like Derrick Carter, DJ Hyperactive, Paul Johnson, DJ Heather, and more. We're excited to have him return for a set at The Cardinal Bar to open the floor with some feel-good house and disco selections.
Host DJ DH will close things down after sets from Lovecraft and Nola Rave, a rare late night occurrence after usually opening these parties in the past. See you on the dance floor!
