Dreamgirl: Producer Day Camp

The Dreamgirl Producer Day Camp is a full-day takeover of a multi-million dollar studio in Santa Monica — one of the most exclusive creative spaces in the city. On August 8th, we're filling every room with workshops, listening rooms, hands-on production education, and the kind of community that actually changes your career.

This isn't a networking event. There's no awkward mingling over lukewarm coffee. This is a day designed to help make chasing your dreams of being a full time music producer FUN!

Here's what's happening:

The Live Room

1:00pm -1:30pm
Dreamgirl Founder Scarlet Parke has a chat with a Grammy Nominated Female Producer about her journey and how to make a living as a producer.

2:00pm - 3:30pm
Scarlet & Aire host a beat building & movement workshop where artists build a beat as a group followed by movement and manifestation

4:00pm - 5:00pm
Shelby Scott, Senior Manager of Kobalt Music hosts "Gotta Sync 'Em All", a sync game where contestants have to compete for best songs for the briefs provided.

5:30pm - 6:30pm
Espa Founder, Deon Nicholas and Scarlet Parke give a demonstration of how to use Espa as an artist. From email management to brand deals, artists will learn how to 10x their productivity and contact management.

The Mixing Room

1:00pm - 4:00pm
Listening sessions with feedback from experienced producers

4:15pm - 5:15pm
Sell your beats live! If you produce and have beats to sell, apply to participate in our exciting live beat market.

5:30pm to 8:00pm - TBD

The Practice Room
This is where the magic happens. Fully stocked with a piano, drumset, synths, and sound system, artists are free to jam, write, and collaborate!

The VIP Lounge

• Artist Confession Booth is running as an all-day confessional booth hosted by "Not Another Life Lesson" podcast. Walk in, answer tell your story, and say what you actually mean. No filter required. upstairs features signature cocktails, a pool table, celebrity artist meet and greet and a gear bedazzling station — bring your headphones, your cables, your cases. Leave with something that looks like you.
• Gear Bedazzling & Craft Station is where artists can choose between bedazzling gear with jewels or adding pins and patches to their Dreamgirl Bag.

Outside, we've got a BBQ going all day and the outdoor gym is available for movement , remote recording, and relaxing.

This event is a women-first space. We especially welcome our LGBTQ+ babes, queer femmes, and non-binary community — you are not an afterthought here, you are the point.
