Dreamgirl: Producer Day Camp

The Dreamgirl Producer Day Camp is a full-day takeover of a multi-million dollar studio in Santa Monica — one of the most exclusive creative spaces in the city. On August 8th, we're filling every room with workshops, listening rooms, hands-on production education, and the kind of community that actually changes your career.

This isn't a networking event. There's no awkward mingling over lukewarm coffee. This is a day designed to help make chasing your dreams of being a full time music producer FUN!

Here's what's happening:

In the Live Room, we're hosting Audacity: How to Get What You Want, and Say No to What You Don't — a panel hosted by Dreamgirl founder, Scarlet. From 3:30 to 5:30 we will be live building beats with the Dreamgirl Bag followed by demos of some of the best new tools for artists.

The Mixing Room is running back-to-back sponsored education sessions from 3 to 5PM — hands-on DAW workshops and more, where you're actually at the console, not just watching. Followed by an intimate Q&A with a professional mixing engineer. A

The Podcast Room is running as an all-day confessional booth hosted by "Not Another Life Lesson" podcast. Walk in, answer tell your story, and say what you actually mean. No filter required.

The VIP Lounge upstairs features signature cocktails, a pool table, celebrity artist meet and greet and a gear bedazzling station — bring your headphones, your cables, your cases. Leave with something that looks like you.

Outside, we've got a BBQ going all day and the outdoor gym is available for movement and relaxing.

This event is a women-first space. We especially welcome our LGBTQ+ babes, queer femmes, and non-binary community — you are not an afterthought here, you are the point.

Men: we love you; you are welcome to attend, and we would also LOVE and appreciate it if you were open to volunteering to help, too. :)
