In this 3hr class, I will take you through the history of the dreamcatcher within Native American culture, the breakdown of meanings behind all the parts of a dreamcatcher, and then teach you how to create one with proper intention and respect. This is a sacred art and should be treated as such; the dreamcatcher is both a work of art and a protective talisman. All materials will be provided, I weave wreaths ahead of time for most classes or I provide solid rings where we wrap leather around them, depending on the availability of vines I have access to at that time. Feel free to bring any special rocks/beads/trinkets/crystals you wish to include in your dreamcatcher, I provide wire and tools as well but if you have your own and wish to bring them, please do.
Registration will be $45, and make sure you bring a chair to sit on. Spaces are limited, so make sure you contact the shop to secure youreself a spot.
