Join us for an extraordinary day of motorsports, performance, and competition.
GTR Simulator is proud to host an official stop of Dream to Drive: Racing Saleen — The Search for the Next Driver, a live casting event featured in an original television series documenting the high-stakes, nationwide search for America's next elite racing driver. The series' streaming platform will be announced soon. Compete for the opportunity to advance through Dream to Drive and pursue the chance to become a professional endurance race car driver sponsored by Saleen.

Come watch the Dream to Drive competition, check out the car meet, meet fellow motorsports enthusiasts, and enjoy the event.
SHOW YOUR CAR - FREE
Bring your sports car, exotic, JDM, muscle car, classic, tuner, race car, or other enthusiast vehicle and display it at our car meet. Advance registration is required for show vehicles.
APPLY TO COMPETE - DREAM TO DRIVE CASTING
Think you have what it takes? Apply for a chance to participate in the Dream to Drive simulator tryout and potentially advance in the search for the next driver.
IMPORTANT: Registering as a competitor is an application and does NOT guarantee a tryout. Selected competitors will be contacted approximately 2 days before the event.
Car Meet | 11:00 AM–4:00 PM
Open to all car enthusiasts. Bring your ride and showcase it alongside an incredible lineup of performance and exotic vehicles, or come out to experience the cars, drivers, and culture that make Southern California’s automotive scene unique. Come check out the newest cars from SALEEN Automotive.
Please check in upon arrival and be prepared to show proof of registration. A designated parking spot will be assigned to you prior to the event. If parking spaces are full and you have not been assigned a spot, you may be placed on a waitlist. Please note that waitlist placement does not guarantee a parking space.
Guidelines
Vehicles participating in the car show must arrive and be parked before 10:30 AM and remain in place until the event concludes at 4:00 PM. Parking space for vehicles is limited. If you wish to display or compete with your vehicle, you must register in advance and provide the year, make/model, and any modifications to your vehicle. Without registration and the required vehicle information, we may not be able to accommodate your vehicle.
For the safety of all guests, pedestrians, and children throughout the venue, vehicle movement and early departures are strictly prohibited during event hours. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN NEIGHBORING BUSINESS PARKING LOTS. Unauthorized vehicles parked in business lots are subject to towing at the vehicle owner's expense.
Dream to Drive Competition | 18+
10:00–10:45 AM — Car Show Vehicle Check-In / Load-In
11:00 AM–1:00 PM — Dream to Drive Competition: Session 1
11:00 AM–4:00 PM — Car Meet / Car Show
1:00–2:00 PM — Competition Break / Vehicle Entry & Exit Window
2:00–4:00 PM — Dream to Drive Competition: Session 2
4:00 PM — Event Ends / Show Vehicle Departure
We’re excited to welcome experienced drivers who are passionate about racing and confident behind the wheel. Please note that registering for the competition does not guarantee a spot, and participation is not based on a first-come, first-served basis. Competition spots are limited, and participants will be selected by the event organizers. Registering simply gives you the opportunity to be considered for a spot.

Selected competitors will receive their assigned time slot upon arrival.
The top-ranked driver on the leaderboard will have the opportunity to work alongside Saleen Racing Sponsorship and compete in a professionally prepared race car for a chance to secure a position on Team Dream to Drive at one of the world’s most prestigious endurance races.
Bring your best lap, challenge the field, and see where your driving can take you. This is your chance to put your racing knowledge, precision, and skill to the test and experience the intensity of professional racing from behind the wheel.
Competition
Each selected participant will complete 1 warm-up lap followed by 2 hot laps on the legendary Laguna Seca track, driving the Mustang GT3 model. Your hot laps will count toward your leaderboard position, so bring your focus, find your rhythm, and put down your fastest time.
HOW THE TRYOUT WORKS
Selected competitors will take the wheel of a GTR racing simulator and complete:
1 Out/Warm-Up Lap
2 Hot Laps
Your performance and lap times will be recorded as part of the Dream to Drive casting competition.
Simulator capacity is limited. Submitting a competitor registration does not guarantee participation.
Want to Get Some Practice In?
If you’re serious about putting down a competitive time, we strongly recommend getting some practice in before the event. Visit our Sim Center and register at https://www.gtrsim.com to get some practice in before competition day! Familiarize yourself with the Laguna Seca track and Mustang GT3 so you can come prepared and ready to put down your best lap.
Note: All competitors must be 18 years or older.
