Drawstring Bag Variations: Sewing Workshop

Practice zero-waste sewing by making useful & beautiful drawstring bags from offcuts!

We will showcase a variety of more complex drawstring bags: gusset bottom, backpack, komebukuro (Japanese Rice Bag) & padded bags for carrying delicate items. You will design and make your own bags using clean linen, cotton & hemp fabric.

We offer guidance on hand-sewing, and awesome sewing books to inspire you.

For ages 16+, hand sewing experience is a must.
