Meet the artists and listen to a vinyl set by DJ Joel Ricci at the opening reception.
Celebrate the opening of Drawn Here: Comic Art in the Library at the Port Angeles Main Library on Friday, November 20, from 6:30–8pm.
Meet local artists and creators featured in the exhibition, explore artwork inspired by comic books, graphic novels, and manga, and hear artists share more about their work and creative process. DJ Joel Ricci will provide the soundtrack for the evening.

Drawn Here showcases original work by artists of all ages and experience levels from across the Olympic Peninsula, highlighting the many ways comics combine words and images to tell stories, express ideas, and spark imagination.
The exhibiting artists are: Donna Barr, Per Berg, Mikayla DeBerry, Christa Dippel, Alisa Hasbrouck, Yukio Iraha, Kalen Knowles, Cammry Lapka, Travis McCaffrey, Teresa McCaffrey, Guppy McCaffrey, David Moore, and Cecilia Olivera-Hillway.
Doors open for the Drawn Here reception at 6:30pm on November 20.
Light refreshments will be provided.
The exhibition will remain on display at the Port Angeles Main Library through February 13, 2027.
About DJ Joel Ricci:
DJ Joel Ricci curates distinctive all-vinyl seven-inch selections of vintage and contemporary rare funk, raw soul, deep jazz, and African and Latin 45s for the discerning music listener in real time. He delights in sharing the cream of his collection with curious and adventurous loungers, dancers, and everyone in between. As always, Ricci tunes into the prevailing vibe and picks perfectly complementary sounds based on his axiom: "Vinyl is Truth at 45 Revolutions Per Minute."
