Bring your sketchbooks or journals to Bishop Museum on April 19, for a drawing workshop where you can spend time in the Malacology collection with Artist Hayv Kahraman, learn about rare Native Hawaiian snails from the experts, and draw whatever the Collection inspires in you!
Kahraman’s works “Mākua Valley” and “Fire Spiral” were inspired by kāhuli and pupukanioe from the Museum’s collections, and are currently on view at the Honolulu Museum of Art.
