Drawing Workshop - Group Session

Sunday December 13th 2026 - 2pm-4pm

@ Coffee #1, South St, Haywards Heath.

6-10 places

A tutor-led creative drawing session where we will start off with watercolour shapes and transform each into a small sketch. We'll complete 2-4 A4 pages with 12 shapes on each one. this technique encourages you to use your imagination and practice creating a drawing with minimal marks.

we’ll start off with introductions, do some quick pen sketches to loosen up and then concentrate on a further 2-3 pages - drawing within a theme for each page - decided by the roll of a dice.

I'll provide some source material if you need inspiration and of course - All materials will be provided - but bring your own pens / paints or sketchbooks if you want to.

Welcome, Hellos and a brief description of what we'll be doing

14:00 - 14:05

a quick 20 minute session using fineliner pens to draw faces on an A4 page of 12 pre-painted colour shapes. I'll buy the drinks while this session is underway.

14:05 - 14:30

a longer 40 minute study working within a theme such as birds, flowers, people, faces, dogs etc. with fineliners on to an A4 page of 12 pre-painted colour shapes -

14:30 - 15:10

a further page of 12 small drawings using Colour pencils - follow a theme or use your imagination.

15:10- 15:40

a final 20 minutes to finish off any pages that are still incomplete

15:40 - 15:55
