Drawing Workshop - Group Session

Sunday January 31st 2027- 2pm-4pm

@ Coffee #1, South St, Haywards Heath.

6-10 places

A tutor-led creative drawing session where we will focus on simple 2 tone drawings - using fineliner pens and colur or grey washes.

We’ll start off with introductions, do some quick 2 minute and 5 minute pen sketches to loosen up - followed by a dozen or so 5 to 10 minute studies from photographic resources.

Feel free to bring in photographs of your own from home.

All materials will be provided - but bring your own pens / paints or sketchbooks if you want to.

Your ticket price includes a FREE hot or cold drink.

Welcome, Hellos and a brief description of what we'll be doing

14:00 - 14:05

2 quick 5-10 minute fineliner sketches while I get drinks in.

14:05 - 14:30

A 30 minute full figure study - with fineliner followed by watercolour, ink or just water (to interact with the pen ink)

14:30 - 15.00

A 30 min close up Portrait - using the same technique

15.00- 15:30

more of the same - whatever you enjoy doing most - maybe you'd like to draw the coffee shop interior - or each other - or me.
