In this class students will learn the basics of drawing the human figure. We’ll cover proportion, gesture, and anatomy, showing you how to bring these together to create beautiful figure drawings. Whether you’re new to drawing or want to improve your skills, this class is perfect for you.
Carolyn will walk you through everything you need to know and give you tips and demonstrations. This is a great opportunity to build your confidence in figure drawing in a friendly and encouraging setting. Supplies are not included in the cost of the workshop.
Please note that our classes are typically held in the lower level of Arlene's. Because access to the lower level is available only by stair, please let us know if using the stairs presents any difficulty for you in advance of the class so we can make alternate arrangements. We want to make sure everyone is able to enjoy and participate in our classes.
