While this workshop has sold out, due to popular demand we have decided to run the workshop again on the following day, entitled Drawing Scotland's Birds II.
Spend the day immersed in the shapes, colours and character of Scotland’s wild birds. You will learn how to draw birds from simple forms and shapes, add depth and texture and bring life and movement into your work with expressive lines.
We will explore birds through sketches, watercolour, pencils and ink. You will develop a final piece of artwork inspired by your chosen bird.
A calm, creative day led by Eilidh Maine. Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike.
All materials are provided. Students are welcome to bring a packed lunch for the short lunch break. Alternatively there are excellent local shops and cafes close by.
