Drawing for Story @ Enterprize Hobart

Drawing for Story is a workshop developed by myself and Luke Watson. It’s designed to introduce you to sketching storyboards as a way of communicating.

Prior to the workshop, we ask participants to come up with a communication challenge they want to work on. What is something you've been trying to explain but are having difficulty with?

We give you some tools to help you turn your story from vague to a visual storyboard.

Some people have done sketchnoting classes (learning to quickly take visual notes), and we see this workshop as being a natural follow-on from that.

Alternatively, it suits people who haven't done much drawing in a while (or ever), but enjoy the practice and are willing to give it a go!

It'll help anyone who's trying to tell a story or advocate for humans, inside or outside an organisation. We've had corporate people, doctors, educators and parents come along, enjoy themselves and take away something useful.
