About this Event
Draw your stress away
Hello friends! Welcome to Draw your stress away, an online event where we can come to take a break from our busy lives, and draw and color away whatever stresses we’ve built up.
There's no pressure to create artistic masterpieces here and there is definitely no “talent” required.
So grab a pencil and some paper, find a cozy spot, and join us for a fun drawing session with a simple step by step tutorial.
We meet online, so we can unwind in the comfort of our own homes. That also means this group has no geographic restrictions. Come join us! Everyone is welcome :-)
Suggested Materials
In terms of materials, here are some suggested materials to have on hand:
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Some paper to draw on (or a sketchbook if you have one)
- A piece of scrap paper
- Optional: Pen
- Optional: Some colored pencils
Art skills
People of all skill levels are welcome! I will aim to demonstrate so that you can follow along if you're a beginner, and there will be additional suggestions for those with more advanced skills.
Our goal is to unwind and have fun, so there's no pressure to create museum worthy art here :-)
Agenda
We'll be keeping things quite informal, but here's a rough agenda of what you can expect during the workshop:
- 5 min - Welcome and Introduction
- 45 min - Follow along to a step by step relaxing drawing session
- 10 min - Share what we made and closing off
