DRAW TILL YOU DROP 9

THE DRAW TILL YOU DROP series is a bi-annual 2.5 day life drawing event. Artists of all levels (from complete beginners to seasoned professionals, 18+) are welcome!

Do you want to improve your figure drawing skills? This weekend event is for you! After 20+ hours of drawing from life you will be amazed at your progress!

NEW!!! Loosen up and get the rust out of your system before the weekend! We are adding an extra evening session on Friday night with a mini demo (artist TBD) and a mix of short and long poses!

WHEN

November 29, 6:30-9:30

November 30 & December 1, 9:00 am to 7:30 pm

WHERE

NVRLND Boutique, 1048 21 Avenue Southeast, Calgary

FOOD:

Snacks, tea/coffee + soft drinks included

SUPPLIES:

Bring your own art supplies and easels (seating will be limited). Some tables, chairs and art-donkeys will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. No solvents are allowed. If you are painting, please bring your own drop cloth to protect the floors.

SCHEDULE:

Friday: 6-10 pm

Mini demo (artist TBD)

1 hr of short poses

2 hrs of long poses

Saturday and Sunday:

9 - 12 pm: 1 nude model (short poses)

LUNCH Break

13:00 - 4:00 pm:

1-2 nude models (long+medium length poses)

BREAK

4:30 - 7:30 pm: 1 model - long pose
