This session will be led by Andy Barry, who many of you may remember from the Royal Exchange where for ten years he led The Elders at the Royal Exchange imagining a creative programme including Elders Mondays, the year-long Elders Company model, Elders Leaders and the Elders Dream Projects.
Andy says: "Challenging ageism, promoting creativity into later life and encouraging learning about theatre craft has been at the forefront of my practice and I’m delighted that REXIT are creating the next phase of Elders Creativity. I’m thrilled to be running a session. Thank you. The session on Monday 10 August 2-4pm will include some familiar playful activity as well as focus on acting technique. How can you live truthfully under imagined circumstances? Let’s Play!"
We will meet in the cafe at 53two from 1.30pm, the session will start 2pm. Full directions will be emailed shortly before the event.
The venue is close to Deansgate station.
The venue is accessible with lift access to the studio on the 3rd floor.
