Ahoy mateys! Get this date in the diary and book your tickets for this amazing and unique family day out! Look no further me hearties for an adventure and excitement in the summer holidays! Spend the day on the mysterious Drakes Island (the jewel of the Plymouth Sound National Marine Park!) with activities and exploring for all ages!
Enjoy the stunning views and fascinating history on a family friendly guided tour, and follow the clues on an exciting scavenger hunt, with options for all ages and a special Drakes Island souvenir to be earned at the end of the treasure hunt!
There will also be a team of Musketeers joining us to demonstrate their skills. You will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with their equipment and observe a real Musketeer shooting drill on the day!
Everyone is encouraged to join in the pirate fancy dress fun! There will be a competition with fantastic prizes for the best dressed island adventurers - adults and children alike!!
Bring your own picnic and enjoy free time on this spectacular landmark in the Plymouth Sound, with complimentary tea and coffee for the grown (or not so) grown ups! Plus a soft drink for all the little explorers!
Transport to and from the island is included in your ticket price, so you really can experience a boat trip on the high seas aboard a scurvy ship provided by Plymouth Boat Trips!
Meet us at the Barbican Landing Platform to embark on your adventure!
Choose from either:
A shorter trip departing at 1100 and returning at 1400 or..
A longer day, departing 1230 and returning at 1700
These prices are not to be missed with tickets cheaper than a standard tour of the island for this one off event!
