January 29
In Support of the Brandywine Valley SPCA
Join us for an intimate winter evening as Dragonfly Supper Club presents Finding the Heart in Humanity, a chef-driven supper celebrating local food, shared tables, and seasonal comfort. Hosted by renowned Chef Matthew Stone, this Winter Warmer brings guests together inside the historic James Buchanan Mansion for a night rooted in craft, hospitality, and connection.
- The evening begins with cocktail hour from 5:00–6:00 PM, featuring a winter charcuterie display and warm white bean, rosemary, and roasted garlic dip. Guests will enjoy an exclusive bar offering a seasonal cocktail, winter mocktail, before gathering at shared tables for dinner in the mansion’s intimate dining rooms with soaring ceilings and decorative fireplaces.
- The menu highlights winter-forward flavors and classic techniques, executed with a refined, modern touch and a strong commitment to local sourcing.

This supper supports the Brandywine Valley SPCA, a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to saving lives and strengthening the human–animal bond through rescue, adoption, veterinary care, and community outreach. The months following Christmas are one of the most challenging times of year for shelters, as animals are often surrendered after being gifted into situations that ultimately prove unsustainable. Support during this season is critical to ensuring animals receive safety, medical care, and the opportunity for a new beginning.
- A portion of every ticket sold directly supports the Brandywine Valley SPCA and their ongoing work throughout Chester County and beyond. By dining together at shared tables, guests help turn a night of comfort and connection into tangible impact for animals in need.
- Tickets are $85 per person + taxes, fees, and gratuity. Dietary accommodations, including vegetarian, vegan, or other adjustments, can be made with advance notice by emailing .
