Description:

The Dragon Lights Festival is returning to Reno with more than 40 new displays! The festival will have lantern sculptures made of steel, fabric and thousands of LED lights. This year there is also a new interactive playground with lantern displays that invites visitors to touch, interact with and even climb on them. The Dragon Lights Festival will bring a taste of China to Reno in a way that all ages will enjoy.

What you need to know:

There will be three food vendors on site. You can also bring in food and beverages of your own. This is a family friendly event so alcohol is prohibited in the festival. There will also be merchandise for sale and a face painter. No pets will be allowed, so please leave them at home.

Parking will be first come, first serve throughout the park. ADA parking will be available at the museum parking lot. Be prepared for parking near Coleman Drive in the dirt lot and walking to and from the festival entrance by the Museum. There will be a lit pathway leading from the entrance to the parking lot at Coleman once it is dark to help keep everyone safe. It is advisable to have flash lights just in case. There will not be a shuttle available for the County/MAS night.

These free tickets are intended for employees and the members of their household. Children 5 and under do not need a ticket to attend. You will be able to acquire 4 tickets through eventbrite, however if you have a large family, you can email [email protected] to request more tickets.
