It is time to UNITE, NOT DIVIDE! The inaugural Dragging Douglas Pride and Arts Festival was created to expand LGBTQ+ programming for the greater Wichita area. This one-day festival seeks to expose and celebrate our LGBTQ+ community through arts centered programming in the heart of our City. We will kick off with family themed programming during the day (10AM-5PM), which will include an Arts Market, Drag Queen Story Hour, and student centered arts activities with the goal of exposing, educating and celebrating LGBTQ+ culture through the arts.
Evening/night programming (6-11PM) will be a Pride Celebration which will include a drag show, fashion show, and outdoor pride party, along with other surprise activities!
Mark your calendars, and get ready, as we unveil details of this great event in the upcoming weeks, including featured performers, artists, and other programming!
