In partnership with Drag Queen Story Hour Chicago, Colectivo presents Drag Queen Story Hour!Local queen, Muffy Fishbasket, will read kid-friendly, progressive titles in a positive and welcoming environment. ABOUT Drag Queen Story Hour:
Drag Queen Story Hour is more than just drag queens reading to children. It serves to provide spaces where children can see people who defy rigid gender roles, express their own gender identity, and find glamorously positive queer role models. It is also a place where parents can learn about gender expression and have the chance to meet people who can share their experiences on growing up gender non-conforming. Please join us for a family event that will include stories that promote diversity, education, and creativity.
