Get ready for big wigs, home runs, and fierce competition! Kaleidoscope Theatre Company, New Orleans’ newest queer theatre collective, is thrilled to host its first fundraiser: Drag Queen Kickba ll! This high-energy, high-heeled sporting showdown will take place on April 19th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Orleans City Park, Field 1, Tad Gormley Baseball Field.
This one-of-a-kind event blends athleticism, entertainment, and campy fun, featuring a lineup of the best in New Orleans Drag battling it out in a kickball extravaganza like no other. Attendees can expect dazzling performances, outrageous team spirit, and plenty of surprises throughout the game.
Drag Queen Kickball isn’t just about fun and fabulousness—it’s also about supporting queer storytelling on stage. Proceeds from the event will help fund Kaleidoscope Theatre Company’s upcoming season, which spotlights adapted classical works, modern queer theatrical canon, and new works by LGBTQ+ playwrights.
