Skilled makeup artists will transform 9 lucky participants into stunning drag Kings & Queens with 50-minute makeover sessions in the Betty Wark Room. Using techniques like contouring, beard shadow concealing & bold, dramatic makeup, they will create show-stopping looks that match your b.y.o outfits, wigs & accessories.
Friends, whānau & paparazzi are invited to wait in the Helen Clark Lounge, building the buzz as participants prepare for their big reveal.
Once the transformations are complete, participants will strut down a red-carpet runway through the Lounge, making their grand entrance before stepping out into Freyberg Square, ready to dazzle.
This fun, inclusive event showcases the artistry of drag while promoting visibility & pride. Whether you're participating or supporting, Drag On You promises an unforgettable celebration of self-expression.
