Drag Me to the Polls

In honor of pride month Clifford Hobbs III, candidate for District 4 City Council, is mixing two of our favorite things; Local drag and Local politics.

Politics, while extremely important, can be a bit exhausting. So, In honor of PRIDE month, we are mixing in a little drag with our politics to help liven up democracy and get you excited about voting in the municipal election this year. On August 24th, 2021 you get to cast your vote for who you want to represent you for City Council (Clifford Hobbs III, District 4) and Mayor, but before you do we've invited some friends to remind you of why municipal elections are so important. Our guest speakers include the first openly gay man elected to St. Pete City Council Steve Kornell. Director of Membership and Outreach for Pinellas Young Democrats, Johnny V. Boykins. Esther Eugene with All Administrative Solutions. They have teamed up with the fierce drag talents of IMAN, Jay Miah from The Voice and Mr. Brent Star. With a very special guests, from Rupaul's Drag Race, "The Lip-sync Assassin" Trinity K. Bonet with local radio personality Daruis Lightsey as the event emcee.

There is an important election coming up this year and you ABSOLUTLY need to be in on it. Grab your tickets, 5 of your besties and get ready to be dragged all the way to the polls.
