Art Central Foundation is pleased to welcome the incomparable Rubi Girls back to the stage of the historic Sorg Opera House for our annual Drag Me to Brunch fundraiser! We anticipate a big crowd for this show, so get your tickets soon!**BRUNCH: 10:00-11:30 am @ Art Central Foundation**
**RUBI GIRLS SHOW: 12:00-1:30 pm @ Sorg Opera House**
Tickets for the Rubi Girls show ONLY at the Sorg are $30 for general admission & $45 for premium. For the complete experience, you can join us for brunch with cash bar before the show at the Art Central Foundation. Brunch requires a separate ticket for $20 with limited availability. After brunch, take a short stroll over to the Sorg for the show. The Rubi Girls will be performing a PG13 show for us, just like the movies, so content is appropriate for those 13 and over if accompanied by a parent.
Known throughout Ohio as The Rubi Girls, this dynamic, close-knit troupe of professionals has been performing since the late 1980’s. Comprised of business owners, a filmmaker, a graphic designer, an IT director, a merchandise manager, a make-up artist, cosmetologists, hairstylists, and educators, the group began performing for one another in an attic during college. What started on Rubicon Street has grown into a frenzy for seating arrangements upon the announcement of a show. Who would believe that in the conservative Midwest, a group of friends in their 30’s, 40’s, 50's and 60’s attract sold-out crowds to their charity-driven, comedic drag performances?
