Drag Life Drawing Workshop

Join Leeds based drag artists @shes.liv.vicariously and @pulpquality (on instagram) for an exciting life drawing session, where you will be given the opportunity to draw live drag performers in a safe and inclusive environment.

This session is the first time we've hosted these drag life drawing sessions at Wharf Chambers! Bring along a notebook and some art supplies (a pad and pencil would be fine!)

No experience needed at all!

Leeds LGBTQ+ Community Consortium works with partners to reduce social isolation amongst older, unwell, disabled or otherwise restricted members of the LGBTQ+ communities. We aim to improve health and wellbeing by providing inter-generational activities, events and information to enable LGBTQ+ people to develop new interests and become more connected.

Can I come to sessions if I’m not a member of the LGBT Community?

LLCC is proud to offer our sessions for free. This is because we receive funding to host sessions and events specifically for people who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ Community. Allies of the LGBTQ+ Community are encouraged to promote our sessions to LGBTQ+ friends, service users and colleagues.

This session will take place in the accsessible gig space at Wharf Chambers, there is an an accessible bar area and bar, accessible toilets, stage and gig room area.

If you are a wheelchair user, The back door is accessed via the alleyway 129cm to the left of the front door. It is sloped and cobbled. The narrowest point is 104cm but it is mostly wider and slightly curved. At the top of the alleyway there is a car park. This is mostly uneven tarmac but there is a recently paved strip (118cm wide, on a slight upward incline) to the right that leads to the back door and beer garden. The strip sometimes has furniture on it but this can be moved. The back door itself opens outward and is pinned back; it is 94cm wide at its narrowest point. There is a fixed wooden ramp leading down to the rear fire porch. The ramp is 78cm long, 109cm wide, with a rise of 45cm.
