Lady Bushra’s comedy style is a sharp blend of political satire, South Asian cultural commentary, and quick-witted observational humor, all delivered through the persona of a glamorous yet no-nonsense drag housewife from Bradford. The character leans into the contradictions and absurdities of both British and South Asian cultures, often using parody, wordplay, and regional dialects to highlight social issues, identity politics, andeveryday desi life.
Her performances often include: Topical references, audience interaction and improvised banter as well as campy storytelling with just a touch of mischief!
