Join Center Point DAAC at the dedication ceremony of the Dr. Sushma D. Taylor Recovery Center, a beacon of hope and innovation in the fight against substance use disorders. This groundbreaking facility, named in honor of Dr. Sushma D. Taylor's unwavering commitment to those battling substance use disorders, marks a significant milestone in recovery services for the Northern California region. With its 50 state-of-the-art beds, including 10 dedicated to medical withdrawal management—the only facility of its kind service for Partnership Health Plan members in Northern California—this center stands out as a pioneer in life-saving treatments. It proudly emerges as one of the initial projects completed under the auspices of the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP), a visionary initiative by Governor Gavin Newsom. The dedication event will gather elected officials from across the state, key figures from crucial public service departments within California, and feature special guest speakers (announcements soon). Join us in celebrating the legacy of one of California's most dedicated public servants and launch a facility that not only promises to save thousands of lives but also to enhance our community and set new standards for the future of recovery services in California.
