“Call your sons. Call your daughters. Call your friends. Call your neighbors,” Dr. Knapp, a dedicated physician who has served the medical needs of the Bridgeport community and the south side of Chicago for over four decades, is retiring on June 18th. To express our gratitude for his years of service and unwavering dedication, we are organizing a special send-off.
On Thursday, June 18th, at 5 p.m., Dr. Knapp will be making his final walk out of Knapp Medical Center. We invite you to join us in surprising him with a warm welcome as he departs. To make this event even more memorable, we will be lining the sidewalks of Halsted between 33rd Street at the Knapp Medical Center and Mitchell’s Tap.
Please bring a small note or card containing a fond memory or retirement advice to share with Dr. Knapp. Your presence and support will make this day truly special for him. Let’s come together to show Dr. Knapp that his impact on Bridgeport will not be forgotten. As the old adage goes, “No man is a failure who has friends.”
