Celebrating Local Mississippi Farmers
About this Event

On February 1, 2020, a proclamation was presented by Turning Point Fellowship Ministries International Church, Canton, MS from Chokwe Lumumba, Mayor of Jackson, for his outstanding leadership and work in the community. Dr. Cable was humbled by receiving such a prestigious honor.

The vision for this day is to strengthen local economies through community and economic development. Dr. Cable desires to be a part of the vision that restores hope in our residents for their city, to produce tangible results in our community both spiritually and economically, and to challenge government to be stronger leaders with good character in their communities.

On February1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., we, Dr. Joshua A. Cable Day and The Best of Mississippi Awards, will honor Mississippi local farmers in the agriculture industry at the Mississippi Agriculture Museum in Jackson, MS. Our local farmers are an intricate part of our communities, and they should be recognized and celebrated for their hard work and contributions.

We invite Hinds County residents, governmental officials, pastors, lay leaders, and advocates in the agriculture industry. In addition to this day of honor, KCN also seeks to empower, equip, and organize communities to govern themselves that will impact the marketplace and families.

Seating is limited! RSVP Today to be in the room.

Covid measures will be implemented; we are asking all participants to please wear masks.
