About this Event

Toronto Climate Film Festival presents a screening of Jane Goodall: The Hope.

Join us in celebrating the life of the late Dr. Jane Goodall - "a defender of the natural world; an advocate for a sustainable planet where animals, people, and the environment can thrive; and a global icon who inspired people across generations to make a difference,” (Bella Lam, CEO of the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada). We'll screen the National Geographic documentary Jane Goodall: The Hope followed by a clip from Famous Last Words: Dr. Jane Goodall.

After the screening we will speak with Katie Krelove from the Wilderness Committee about wilderness preservation in Ontario. We'll also hear from speakers on how you can take action locally, following through on Jane's final message to the world.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Raffle for The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times (by Dr. Jane Goodall, Douglas Abrams and Gail Hudson)

Admission is free. Donations to the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada, Wilderness Committee, and ClimateFast are welcome.
